This facility is a new 190,400 square foot high school on a 66 acre rural site that accommodates 1,092 students. The new school includes 24 classrooms, 2 art rooms, 2 music rooms, 6 science labs, 3 special education rooms, 4 physical education stations, 6 various other teaching stations and a media center, auditorium, cafeteria and administration offices. The structure is a 2-story steel frame with a masonry veneer exterior. The facility also contains several athletic fields, football/soccer stadium, new entrance drives and parking lots. The HVAC system for the building also makes use of a geothermal well field system. This Project includes provisions for educational technology and furniture and DCA required Homeland Security Standards.
